About Safe.Vet

The idea for Smart Labels came from the same mistakes I kept seeing in practice — preventable errors that happen more often than we like to admit. A drug pushed too fast. An injection given the wrong route. A tired vet forgetting to dilute. I kept thinking: there has to be something that actually helps with this.

So I created injectable drug labels designed to reduce those risks — not just color-coded, but built with the practical details we rely on every day: dilution reminders, typical routes, and how slowly a drug should be given IV. Each label is ISO-compliant, easy to read, and made for the pace of real clinical work — helping teams prep faster, hand off clearly, and treat patients more safely.

We’ve spent countless hours cross-referencing drug protocols with Plumb’s, VIN, and feedback from experienced veterinarians. Where the guidelines are grey, we’ve made thoughtful decisions based on safety, consistency, and how drugs are actually used in practice.

Because safety shouldn’t rely on memory, guesswork, or scribbled handwriting — it should be built into the process.
