About Safe.Vet

Built by a veterinarian who wanted a safer system.

Years in clinical practice. One recurring problem. Dr. Andrew Thay set out to build practical tools that help reduce common medication-safety risks.

Better safety. Every clinic.

“Safety shouldn't rely on memory or guesswork — it should be built into the process.”

The idea for Safe.Vet came from a pattern every veterinary professional recognizes — a drug pushed too fast, an injection given the wrong route, a dilution step missed during a busy shift. These aren't rare mistakes. They're well-documented, predictable failure points in any fast-paced clinical environment.

I've practiced across three countries and multiple hospital systems. The systems were different. The risk factors were the same.

So I started building tools to close those gaps — starting with injectable drug labels designed around the details clinicians actually rely on: dilution reminders, typical routes, dosing guidance.

Safe.Vet was built on a simple belief: safety shouldn't depend on memory or guesswork — it should be built into the process.
